Kite Season:Located in the northern Germany, the sunny island of Fehmarn has some amazing kite spots in store for you. It's the perfect place for anyone who wants to learn to kite or for those who already love it and want to try something new with optimal conditions!
Whether it's the flat water spots for beginners and freestylers or the spots with a wave for all advanced kitesurfers, everyone will find a spot here. The best thing is that Fehmarn, as an island, has a spot for every wind direction and is therefore always kiteable. It is no wonder that the headquarters of the company Core Kiteboarding is located here.
The wind conditions are very constant and great for practising. The island is definitely worth a trip and, with its beautiful spots, also perfect for a weekend in your van with a lot of kiting.

Kitespot & Kiteschool
Fehmarn is located in the far north of Germany in the middle of the Baltic Sea and is easy to reach.
The main spot is in Lemkenhafen, in the southwest of the sunny island. Here, you will find a huge shallow-water spot that is best kiteable with west and south winds and offers ideal training conditions. Perfect for anyone who wants to learn kitesurfing on Fehmarn.
The best thing about an island: you can kite with any wind direction! Whether north, east, south or west, we will always take you to the best spots on Fehmarn. Even for those who prefer a few waves to flat water spots - with a good wind we will find the best waves together in Westermarkelsdorf, Altenteil or at the Grüner Brink.

Kiteschool
The kite courses and the Kitehouse on Fehmarn are organised and run by our long-term partner Kiteboarding Events. Some of you may already know the Kiteboarding Events team from Sicily, South Africa or Denmark. So you can look forward to professional supervision and instruction from a VDWS-licensed team of instructors with premium training equipment from Core Kiteboarding, Carved and Duotone.
KITEWORLDWIDE PACKAGES IN FEHMARN
On Fehmarn you can book complete packages including accommodation and kite services. Of course, you can also rent the latest equipment from Core Kiteboarding, Carved and Duotone from us. To rent, you need a licence that corresponds to VDWS level 5 (can also be purchased on site) and a deposit item, e.g. your ID card or driving licence.

3 h small group kite courseMAKANI KITEHOUSE FEHMARN
Fehmarn is the third largest island in Germany and is not only popular with water sports enthusiasts thanks to its wonderful beaches and landscapes. The sunny island convinces with many small towns, villages and a lot of charm.
Our kite courses and training start directly from the Makani Kitehouse Fehmarn, which is close to the water. The newly renovated, spacious house offers plenty of room and is located directly at the spot from here we start our kite lessons on the water with you! On Fehmarn we can also live our favourite motto "from bed to board", because the Makani Beach House is only 100 metres from the water! From the window you can see directly onto the water and check the wind. Together we will experience many wonderful hours, great evenings and successful kite sessions.
CATERING
In the Kitehouse you will find a large, fully equipped kitchen and an extra fridge for cool drinks for the hotter days! In this way you are always completely flexible, you can eat whatever you want whenever you want. The closest supermarket is in Petersdorf, about five minutes by car.
Nevertheless, we will often spend the evenings together with nice BBQ or cooking evenings. Of course, this is all an option and not a must.

There are many beautiful spots on Fehmarn that can be reached and explored from the water. A round on the SUP also strengthens our balance and gets us fit for the next session on the kite.

WAKEPARK FEHMARN
Wakeboarding, water skiing or just watching. The new wake park on Fehmarn is perfect for practising new tricks or gaining confidence on the board. Learn to wakeboard and kitesurf on Fehmarn, a top combination!
BICYCLE TOURS
You can rent our bikes directly on site!
Simply enjoy the landscape or cycle along the dyke. Get a tan and drink a delicious coffee in one of the many small coffee shops and café's, such as Ellis in Gollendorf. Fehmarn offers many beautiful paths to explore on your bike! Rent: 15€/day
FOR The SPORTSPEOPLE
There is an excellent golf course on Fehmarn for all golf lovers. At the marina in Burgstaaken, you can put your skills to the test on a giant climbing wall in the middle of the large grain silos.
DISCOVER FEHMARN
Fehmarn offers great spots to relax and to enjoy the sea breeze! You will find many beautiful beaches, cliffs and pure nature. In case of rain, there are also plenty of indoor activities. From mini-golf to a visit to the submarine: we always have a tip for you!
