Kite Season:Préa is a small fishing village and is known as one of the best and most windy places to kitesurf in north east Brazil. The quiet and tranquil place provides the perfect environment to fully relax and enjoy unforgettable moments both on and off the water.
Your Dwellings “Rancho do Peixe” lies directly on the kite spot, the gorgeous 15km sandy beach sprawls in front of the accommodation. It is most definitely one of the most luxurious kitesurf hotels in Brazil. The bungalows are spread out over a wide area. In the grounds you can find a restaurant as well as an organic vegetable garden, a large pool, a chillout area with games, a snack bar on the beach and of course a brilliant kite school for your kite courses and kite rental needs.
Rancho do Peixe offers a free shuttle to Jericoacoara (it only takes 15 min.), four times a day. Ideal for sightseeing, shopping or simply to enjoy a nice dinner in town.
Whoever is in need of even more relaxation should seize the chance and combine the trip with a stay in Tatajuba.

Kitespots & Kiteschool
Directly at the spot and within the grounds of the hotel lies the kitesurf school Rancho do Kite. They offer courses taliored to beginners and intermediate kiters as well as equipment to rent. The courses are offered at the IKO standard. During the season there are many international kite instructors teaching in various languages. (definitely in English and most likely in German, other languages might also be available).
Préa has the highest chance for wind from July until February nearly 100% every day! and is always side on shore. On site you will find our perfectly organized Cabrinha kite center. The kite school specializes in private tuition and classes for kids. There is a designated area for beginners to ensure safe practicing. And the best thing yet, with over 28 degrees (Celsius) water temperature you can leave the wetsuit at home.

Kitesurfing Courses
The school is equipped with up to date gear from Cabrinha Kiteboarding.
Rancho do Kite is specialized in private tuition. Group classes are only available if the kiters already acquainted with each other and have a similar body weight.
Kitesurfing equipment
Renting is only available if the kiter has IKO level 3 / VDWS level 4 or higher and is able to kite upwind.Cabrinha Kites are available in sizes 5 m2 to 16 m2, we have all the kites you need and you can change the size to suite the wind conditions.

RANCHO DO PEIXE
This unique flair is maintained in each room through handmade, exclusive furniture and decorations, the roofs of the bungalows are made from Carnauba palm tree leaves which just perfect this beautiful traditional Brazilian style.

CATERING
The menu is varied offering a choice between drinks, snacks traditional Brazilian or international dishes. Everything is freshly made, if desired there is complete vegetarian menu available for you to choose from.
The beach bar is the meeting point for kitesurfers. Here you can get fastfood and healthy snacks, light salads, refreshing drinks and a classic acai.
Breakfast is included (in the price). For dinner we recommend the hotel restaurant or if you want a change Jeri has many restaurants to offer.

Jericoacoara
Jericoacoara or Jeri, as its locally called, is famous for it`s relaxed atmosphere and its wild nightlife. At night, around midnight its time to party and (whoever’s got the stamina) can party all the way through the night till the early morning. Although Jeri’s consists of only 4 sandy streets, it offers a surprising amount of restaurants, pousadas and little shops you will love this place, its no wonder it is becoming world famous even with the non wind sport enthusiastsLagoa do Paraiso
Ideal for a day trip or just after a session riding to relax in these paradisiacal lagoons which are also becoming knows as the `Brazilian Maldives! This is an ideal place to enjoy a cool coconut (or a caipirinha) soak in the crystal clear warm waters or lay back and take in the views from a hammock.Spa & Wellness
The hotel spa offers massages and wellness treatments.European citizens do not need a visa, when not staying longer than 90 days.
TAP run flights from most European cities and fly direct to Fortaleza via Lisbon. You can choose to spend one night in Lisbon, or consider taking a transfer with a waiting time of approximately 4 hours.
Flights to Fortaleza are provided via KLM (via Amsterdam), TAP (via Lisbon), Air France (via Paris) and Latam (via Madrid) and typically cost between €600 and €1200 depending on the time of year.
From our own experience, we recommend you allow at least 2 hours for transfer, otherwise, there is a danger your luggage won’t be transported to the next plane in time.If changing planes in Recife or Salvador you should allow at least 3-4 hours transfer time as you’ll have to check out, pass through immigration and check-in again to continue your flight with local airlines.
