In the joyful month of May, life slowly takes place outside again! The weekends will (hopefully) be spent at the coast with BBQ in the evening and the successful kite day will be discussed over beer and sausage. Nevertheless, May is also a good month for a kite trip. Especially the southern European destinations have awakened from their winter sleep and attract with lots of wind and warm temperatures. Those who prefer it exotic should take a look at Sri Lanka or Morocco, both countries where you can kite with a touch of tropical vibe in May.
Slowly, spring is around the corner and the first sunny days with temperatures around 15 degrees and wind make the kitesurfer’s heart speed up a little.
