Intro
Brazil. It’s an alluring place that most everyone has dreamed of visiting at some point. Caipirinha, Samba and endless beaches… That’s what it’s all about, right? That is what it WAS all about. For years kite surfers have searched for destinations that combine mythical characteristics – strong reliable wind, rolling waves, with plenty of space on the water. If you have dreamed of such a place, then you may have just discovered the best one on the planet.
When you join us on our Kite Surf Safari: Brazil, you can wave goodbye to the crowded beaches of the mass tourist crowd. Then you will say hello to expansive safire lagoons and pristine northeast beaches, scouted for you by our pros. With parties as small as five guests you’ll have a lot of sky to slice.
And since life is a journey, why not ride in style? And what better way to travel than by kite? That’s right, once we begin our journey to kite nirvana, we‘ll let the truck take the beach and follow us while we take the wind!
Your best bet is the two-week Safari because heaven is a big place! But if one week is all you can do, then we can show you a few great spots and give you time to hang out for a while at your favorites.
Give us a call or email and get set for the ride of your life. The wind is set and the waves are trimmed.

Downwind
NOT FOR BEGINNERS! If you think you’ve got your chops down and are ready to ride like a rock star, then the Downwinder is for you. But seriously, you need to be in shape and have some decent skills to hang for a twenty-mile plus ride. That’s right, with a good Downwinder you can stay up for ten to twenty-five miles at high cruising speeds. You need to handle safe self-rescue, quick and safe kite relaunch on water, and have some experience with navigating through dynamic conditions.
But if you can hang with the pros, then you’re in for an unforgettable experience. And while it may be as long as a marathon, you won’t need to suffer. The truck will be riding along the beach, equipped with comfy seats and cold beverages when it’s time to chill for bit. And there’s always someone on hand to get you back into the wind.

Equipment
We recommend bringing an extra kite since you will be giving all your equipment a serious work out for many hours each day. It is especially important that you bring a smaller kite, as the winds will sometimes be intense. A second board, wave board and a spare bar should all be in your kit. Our recommended packing list is as follows: (3) Kites around 8, 10 &12 square meters, 2 bars, twin tip and wave board, spare parts, lines, ropes, straps, fins and screws (!).

Hotels
Your accommodations are designed by and for kite surfers. When it’s time to chill, you can do it by the pool, located right on the beach. When it’s time to crash you’ll do it with a hot private shower and comfy clean bed. When it’s time for breakfast you’ll pile your plate high with an array of fresh fruits that will put your local supermarket to shame. Throw in some eggs, meat, bread, smoothies and you’ll be fueled up for a good long ride. (*Note – They just don’t have cereal here, so if you’re coo coo for Coco Puffs then you might have to smuggle some through customs.)

Brazil Kitesafari
We know you have choices in tour packages. So here’s a list of reasons why our tours rock the funky house, where others are merely toe tappers!
- Ground transportation – Forget about dangerously dodgy old beach buggies. We ride in style in late model, air conditioned 4x4 trucks, that never breakdown or rollover.
- Accommodations – Forget the generic three star tourist traps! When you ride with us, you sleep in Brazilian Pousadas, often run by other riders.
- Group size – We never take groups of more than eight people! You get lots of bang for your buck and a big part of that is SPACE. However, if you have a group of more than eight people and want to rock it, then we never say no to a party.
