For those of you who like to kite with an experienced guide around Cape Town in a group of like-minded riders on a similar level, we have the perfect offer for you: the Advanced Kitesurf Camps. These camps are designed specifically for advanced riders (at least level 3 IKO, upwind, turning, basic jumps) and include courses over a time period of one week, five days kiting all together. We look for the best days of the week (Saturday-Friday) with optimal wind conditions. 

On the first day, the group usually drives up North to Langebaan. This lagoon has shallow water and “light” conditions.

On the second day we are usually on the road to Big Bay. Here kitesurfing includes fairly moderate conditions and a perfect place for you to test your wave kite skills in smaller, clean waves.

Day three and four we drive to an area between Sunset Beach and Melkboss where you cannot miss out a downwinder (Downwind transfer is included)

The last day is one of the lesser-known spots in the southern part of the cape. Whitsands and Scarborough offer top conditions for advanced kiters and your guides know the conditions.

Your coach will give you not only tips and tricks to the spots and their conditions, but - for those who want to - also help with your driving skills and form for kite surfing the waves, self-rescue, jumping, etc. We always have a few wave boards with us which you can use free of charge.

Depending on the number of participants, the group is accompanied by one (up to about five participants) or two (up to 10 participants) guides. You are each day, depending on conditions and number of participants, at a spot for three to six hours.

The camps are mainly run by Sven Ole, who has been in Cape Town for over 10 years. He has several years of experience in training kitesurf and windsurf and is a passionate wave rider himself. Supporters include Chris (owner of our Kitesurfing partners in Fuerteventura), Anne Valvatne (KiteWorldWide Office and team rider, 1st Kitesurf Trophy 2010 & 2012), Nils Wesch (KiteWorldWide team rider, 3-time Dt. Junior champion, 2nd Kitesurf Trophy 2012 , 3rd PKRA Fuerteventura Airstyle 2012), Daniel (KiteWorldWide client advisor, VDWS watersports instructor) and Jürgen (co-founder KiteWorldWide, VDWS instructor).

This is a preview to our brandnew KiteWorldWide Mansion Capetown! We just made a deal for this awesome loft-style villa, just a few steps from famous Sunset Beach.

What the 'bunny' mansion is to Hugh Heffner, from Novermber 2012 the KiteWorldWide Mansion Cape Town is to kiters.  

A rich, luxurious designer loft villa with stylish guest rooms, huge living room with kitchen, braai area, rooftop pool (from here you can see the spot to Table Mountain. And that's where the sun sets).  

Located in Sunset Beach, just 100 meters from the beach and withi it  one of the best kite spots in Cape Town.  

In addition there is a designated guide who tells you not only where you go kiting, but also brings you together to make the best out of your stay out and regularly coordinates fun activities with you. This is not only good for you but for your non-kiter company; everyone can have a lot of fun here!

Of course you can also take kitesurfing courses - whether you are looking for beginner, intermediate or special courses, for example, the waves Kitesurfing in Cape Town a real pro show and rent brand new kite equipment.

We have some wonderful Mercedes W123 recars directly in front of the door available for you - With these stylish classic cars you can round the Cape, cruising to other spots and gaining great experiences.

The deal is sealed, from the 1st of November, the KiteWorldWide Mansion Cape Town opens its doors. Since only a few rooms are available, we advise you to book early.  

The entire kite season, from 1 November to 15 April has a KiteWorldWide guide with you on the spot. He knows everything when it comes to kite surfing, eating out and doing further activities in and around Cape Town.

Regularly mostly free activities and excursions are available, which you can ride in a convoy with your stylish classic car.

Among other things, go to the Biscuit Mill Market for feasting and shopping, to Langebaan for kiting and endulge yourself in the great fish and seafood experience at the Beach restaurant, at the Cape, try the wine from the city or from the east side of the peninsula to the Indian Ocean.

Your guide is also a well-informed partner when it comes to other, exhilarating activities. Skydiving, shark diving, helicopter flights - even in combat mode, paragliding, abseiling, bungee jumping. Who ever gets bored during their stay here, is to blame.

The activities are timed so it is possible to go in the morning and time for the onset of South-Easter winds are again near the Mansion.

Your non-kiter company has a lot to do on their Cape Town vacation.

The west coast, north of Cape Town offers a variety of spots for all tastes and skill levels. Since the wind is amplified there by different thermal and topographic effects, a distance of just a few kilometers already has a great impact on the conditions.

Right outside the door you will find the Sunset Beach, a spot that would actually be enough for a two-week kite trip. Depending on the swell waves, it is from one to several meters. But unlike St. Peter Ording, as usual, since "Kabbel chaos", but with nice, long, glassy-flats "in between. So you can really take a run for the next wave kicker.

Sunset runs approximately one mile long along from the bay to Blouber beach. This bay is again divided into different sections. The names you've probably heard before: Dolphin Beach, Table View, Kitebeach. You already noticed it: Down Winder is the next word!

Sunset is the perfect base for starting a downwinder up north!

Before Blouberg beach is the first section with rocks and only very experienced riders should go there. Then behind the Big Bay is an area with other conditions.

The wind runs throughout the entire day,  so you can sleep or relax in the morning exploring the area.

It starts in the south (ie front door) before and goes generally from the south to the north.

Quite different conditions can be found in shallow water spot of Langebaan. Here in about an hour away, even beginners will find a beautiful lagoon area, but it can get very busy here, especially during high season.

This loft-style villa in Sunset Beach, just 100 meters from the beach and the famous, Parking 1 'away, has impressed us immediately. So much so that we have taken this completely for the next few years under contract.

A large living room with high, light-filled blanket and chill sofas for guests, large flat screen TV to view your trip pictures and kiting videos and an immediate feeling of community that has no comparison.

In the large, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator compartments for each room you can easily prepare your favorite breakfast. For dinner you can go anywhere, because the restaurants in and around Cape Town prepare food at prices which you cannot match.

Oh, and did we mention the large sun roof terrace with the view of Table Mountain and the kite spot? 'Of course' also found here on the roof of Sunset Beach and the pool house can you see a portion of the Atlantic Ocean.

Since the Mansion was designed and built by a Kitesufer there is also a storage garage and outdoor garden shower. (Kitestorage fee? Not in the KiteWorldWide Mansion. You store your stuff for free!)

Rounding out the house with chic, comfortable guest rooms, all with a private bathroom with shower / WC.

In the common areas, WiFi is available, which in perfect for checking your emails (and wind ;) ) ranges, but please do not expect the European speed and reliability.

You have of course access to the common rooms - living room & chill area, kitchen, garden, free kite storage option in the garage. In the kitchen is a refrigerator shelf for you reserved.

Of course, comfortable bedding, towels and daily cleaning of rooms and common areas are already included. Furthermore the housekeeper will wash your laundry for little money.

There are three types of rooms available.

Premium Room

These lie on the ground floor, 25 square meter rooms with access to the garden, can accommodate up to two people. Comfortable beds (twin or double bed) with luxurious feather beds for the best sleep you could ask for. Surely all Premium rooms come with an own comfortable bathroom with a warm water shower and toilet. The rooms also offer electronic safes. Two of these rooms are connected through a door and perfectly suitable for groups or families.

Deluxe Room

These bright, 30-40 square meter rooms are located on the first floor, and are generously large for extra storage space. Some also have an extra bed, so that they can accommodate for three people. (The third bed is of course not as comfortable as the others and should not be planned for the 2 meter person among you)

Every Deluxe room comes with a comfortable bathroom with a warm water shower, toilet and an electronic safe. Two rooms are connected by a door. This makes this suite ideal for the young family with up to two children.

We will try to consider your request for a double bed or twin bed (two singles), but cannot guarantee this (if it is already booked ;)).

Prices

The prices always include the airport transfer and KiteWorldWide tour guide who will always provide you with useful tips for kiting and other activities in and around Cape Town.

You see, Cape Town KiteWorldWide is somehow different. So the car is also. Instead of a Japanese compact cruising car, here you have a chic classic car to roam through the city and to the spots.

Generally, a car is not absolutely necessary. We organize your airport transfer for you which is also already included in your package and your the kiting spot is right in front of your door.

But the car is very cheap and you’ll be able to be so independent.

The beautiful Mercedes W123 is probably the most stylish way to even drive through the Cape. And it is not only beautiful and classy - we have it “pimped” for kitesurfers: large trunk, roof rack, navigation, iPod radio, and neoprene-friendly seat covers are on the seats. Very important: Unfortunately, the cars you use during your vacation stay with us in the villa, you can not take it home ... ;)

The car will be waiting for you in front of the KiteWorldWide Mansion. So you have no stress at the airport and can feel relaxed. Our local guide is also your contact for the car at the same time, our partner car rental company has a mechanic in the area relevant to high for you to Langebaan, if it should have some technical problems.

The cars are fully insured with a deductible of 300 €.

Please keep in mind, there now seems to be very strict rules in Cape Town which are strictly monitored and enforced.

Breakfast – as you wish

The Mansion offers you a large, well appointed kitchen. Of course included with housekeeping that is going to take care of washing up and daily cleaning. ;) In order to that you are always completely flexible and can eat whatever you want whenever you want. Only two minutes away by car, ten minutes by foot, you will find a great supermarket with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and everything else you need.

Food and dining in Cape Town

During our trip to Cape Town we had the idea of offering gourmet travel at the low season. The quality of food at the restaurants in and around Cape Town is amazingly good.  After knowing that you won`t eat in a hotel or prepare something by yourself. For those prices that been offered in the restaurants you won`t be able to cook those meals by yourself. Here the food is not cheap ', but for its quality extremely low priced. You can get perfectly grilled 300 g beef fillets for twelve Euros and seafood plates fewer than ten Euros and a delicious bottle of wine from South Africa for five Euros. Several times a week, we will reserve seats in the best restaurants in town and who wants to go out and dine in a group is always invited to join.

Once a week we organize a typical South African Braai (BBQ) in the garden of the Mansion.

In addition we offer „gourmet- happenings" – for example the Old Bisquit Mill market every Saturday Morning or a ten course meal with fish and seafood in an amazing Beach Restaurant Strandloper located in Langebaan.

Surely all those activities are perfectly timed so that you have enough time for burning as much calories on the water as you can.

Going out and Nightlife

Everyone who has enough power left, gets in the evening and at night one`s money`s worth. During the summer months (our winter) Cape Town is the advertising – and film Mecca. Top Models and staff of the companies get the party started in Camps Bay. And along the Long Street pubs, clubs and bars are right next to each other.

Cape Town is more than a holiday - and more than 'just' surfing. The claim of the city is not in vain: "you don`t need a holiday, you need Cape Town."

Incredible nature experiences with a great countrylife and wildlife, ranging from beautiful beaches to vineyards, from penguins to whales.

Trips to countless wineries inclusive wine tasting, to the Cape, on the Table Mountain, or even a safari with a “Big 5” guaranty create also non-kiters an unforgettable holiday.

Further more you can find all extreme sports you can imagine. Skydiving from 20 min. remote drop zone, abseiling from the Table Mountain, paragliding, speedboat drives, helicopter flights - even in the action-packed combat mode - the highest bungy jump of the world. The South-Easter wind begins at noon so you have enough time to finally try everything  you`ve ever wanted.

Our local guide provides you with helpful tips on how to explore the countless adventures on your own.

For us kiters who are particularly interested, from November 2012 there will be direct flights twice a week from Frankfurt with Condor. You can book these flights, but you should note that there are additional costs for your sports equipment with some air lines (eg Lufthansa tributaries). Therefore, we recommend an affordable Rail & Fly to Frankfurt.

There are many airports in Germany, Austria and Switzerland through various scheduled airline such as British Airways, Swiss, KLM, Air France, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Air Namibia, Alitalia, and more which fly to Cape.
From Munich, Lufthansa also offers direct flights.
