Fuerteventura is an ideal place to learn kitesurfing. Our lessons are held in the southerly part of the huge lagoon of Sotavento beach. This part of the beach can only be accessed by our 4-wheel drive jeeps, so you will have all the space you need. Besides, this is a part of the lagoon where the wind comes in really constant, as there are no hotel complexes or the like which block the wind. 

We offer you full package deals including accomodation in nice apartments, three to four days of kitesurfing lessons, kite rental for the rest of your stay, daily transfer to the lagoon, airport transfer and support by the KiteWorldWide team.

You book your flight yourself, there are plenty of low cost airlines flying into Fuerte daily from all over Europe. We take care of the rest and after one week you come back home infected with the kitesurfing virus ;) . 

During our kitesurf camp you will have lessons with professional kitesurf instructors at one of the most windy and best beginner spots in Europe. There is no doubt, that this is the right spot for you achieving your goal to become a good kitesurfer. For sure with less effort than anywhere else in the Northern Europe!

Instructions are held by licensed and experienced kitesurf instructors with new beginner-friendly equipment. Should there be day with less wind you won’t have to experience hours of boring theory lessons in order to “burn up” your time left.

At site we work together with our longtime partner kitesurf center belonging to a German kitesurf pro. Since six years Chris has been on the waters of Fuerteventura as a kitesurf instructor, and knows the island better than anyone else. Next to this, he is one of the top ranked German riders at the PKRA Kitesurf World cup at Fuerteventura.

Booking a course with us means learning in small groups with the best kitesurf equipment available. Of course, this also applies for Fuerte!

In Costa Calma you will have your own small apartment during your time on Fuerteventura. We have experienced and found that kitesurfers with their own apartments are better off. Thus, we offer you chill apartments in Costa Calma which include a kitchen (with all the necessary items) and a comfortable lounge area equipped with a TV. At the apartment complexes you will also find a pool.

Here you will find a street filled with typical Spanish restaurants and bars which offer both delicious and inexpensive food and drinks. One favorite is the Bocadillo Bar with yummy baguettes. We will eat together in the evenings or you have the option to cook for yourself.

Next to Teneriffa, Fuerteventura is the second largest island of Kanaran and is approx. 120 Km(75 mi) west of Morocco.

They don't only speak Spanish, they live that way too.

Great learning conditions in the lagoon and a number of great spots to choose from around the island for the advanced wave fanatics!

Here you will find a huge flat water lagoon with only soft sand; no dangerous reefs or rocks. Approx 2 Km (1.2mi) from the beach you will find a strip separating the lagoon from the sea.

Please note that depending on the moon phase, you can kitesurf on the lagoon two to four hours before and after high tide. This time-frame is completely sufficient for beginners, as you will need to take a break already after one to two hours. Also for the advanced kitesurfers the transfer to the lagoon and back is adjusted to the tide hours.

Super-wind conditions with strong wind in the summer, moderate wind in the spring and autumn and also a good yield rate in the winter makes this island a kitesurfing paradise.

Below you can check the water levels of the lagoon in Fuerteventura. Due to our training in the southern part of the lagoon, we always are able to find a place with enough water for training even at low tides.

Airport: Puerto del Rosario (FUE)

From Scandinavia:

You can fly once a week (Wednesday) with Apollorejser from Copenhagen directly to Fuerteventura. The flight takes about five hours. A good connection for every other Scandinavian is to fly with Norwegian to Gran Canary and continue the 40 min. flight to Fuerteventura with the low-cost-carrier Canarias Airlines.
