Brazil. It’s an alluring place that almost everyone has dreamed of visiting at some point. Caipirinha, Samba and endless beaches… That’s what it’s all about, right? That is what it WAS all about. For years kitesurfers have searched for destinations that combine the mythical characteristics – strong reliable wind, untouched fine sandy beaches with rolling waves and plenty of space on the water. Have you ever dreamt about such a place? Then you may just have discovered the best one on the planet.
When you join us on our Kite Surf Safari in Brazil, you can wave goodbye to the crowded beaches and mass tourism. You will say hello to expansive safire lagoons and pristine northeast beaches, scouted for you by our pros. With no more than 5 guests on tour, you will have plenty of space to fly over the water.
And since life is a journey, why not ride it with style? And what better way of travelling can you think of, than with your kite? That’s right, once we begin our journey to kitesurf nirvana, we‘ll let the truck take the beach and follow us while we take the wind!
Your best bet is the two-week Safari because heaven is a big place! But if one week is all you can do, then we can show you a few chosen great spots and give you time to hang out for a while at your favorites.
Give us a call or email and get set for the ride of your life. The wind is ready and the waves are rolling!

Kitesurfing safari in Brazil with KiteWorldWide
Yes we know, you have plenty of package tour offers to choose between. So here’s a list of reasons why our tours rock the funky house, where others are merely toe tappers!
- Transportation – Forget about dangerous dodgy old beach buggies. We ride with style: fully air conditioned new 4x4 pick-ups, that never breakdown or rollover.
Of course we also love the small adorable beach buggiess, but let’s admit it – you don’t want to sit in it for hours. Our pick-ups with air condition and a great sound system have enough space for all of your gear, and most important: They don’t break down every second mile. There is nothing more disturbing to a good kite tour than having to wait hours in the dunes for the buggy to be repaired, meanwhile your mates have already reached the first dream spot (we’ve gone through this enough times to know!).
- Accommodations – Forget the generic three star tourist traps! When you ride with us, you stay overnight in cool stylish Brazilian Pousadas, often run by other kitesurfers.
- Group size – We never take groups of more than eight people divided on two pick-ups! You get lots of bang for your buck and a big part of that is SPACE. However, if you have a group of more than eight people and want to rock it, then we never say no to a party.

Tour 1: Taiba - Paracuru - Fleixeras - Prea - Jericoacoara - Tatajuba
Before the first day:
If you like to stay ahead to the Kite-Safari to acclimate yourselves we would be happy to arrange an individual airport transfer and to book some additive nights for you!
1st Day:
The Safari begins with a kite session at the lagoon of Taíba where nice flat water awaits you. Perfect conditions to get your tired muscles warmed up. Starting with a highlight the next part on the schedule is a downwinder from Taíba to Paracaru. Nice waves and the perfect wind direction will get every wave kiter completely stoked. Afterwards you will be brought back to the Pousada in Taíba.
2nd Day:
In the morning we will drive to Lagoinha. From here on we start our next downwinder to Guajirú. Before going back onto the water right in front of our next Pousada we will have a nice snack to charge up the batteries. During low tide the water in front of the Pousada is mainly calm due to a reef and on high tide there are some nice waves to play with. The night we will spend in Guajirú.
3rd Day:
The third day begins with a downwinder to the wave spot of Emboaca where a nice wave spot awaits you. Afterwards we will drive back to the Pousada. Until sunset you can enjoy the nice spot in Guajirú kiting just in front of your doormat. If you would rather relax and take a break after kiting in Emboaca you can also chill in the hammocks watching the others taking it all out on the water.

The night you will stay at the pousada in Icaraizinho again.
6th Day:
After getting up you will drive to Preá for your first kite session of the day. Later you do a beautiful downwinder during sunset straight to Jericoacoara. This is what makes it so special and creates a very unique charm but also the nights can get pretty wild over here.
7th Day:
Before continuing with the next downwinder you will have a nice kite session in Jeri. The downwinder is from Jeri to Guajirú. Later you will all together enjoy a nice cool beer watching the beautiful sunset on the famous dune of Jericoacoara and rave about the recent impressions.

After the last day:
You want to stay longer or keep on travelling north with your kite? After two days of relaxing you have the opportunity of doing the next safari into to wild north of Brazil. Alternatively we would be happy to book additional nights for you and arrange an individual airport transfer.

Downwind
If you think you’ve got your chops and are ready to ride like a rock star, then this is THE downwind tour in Brazil for you. But seriously, you need to be in shape and have some decent skills to handle this twenty-mile plus ride. That’s right, with a good Downwinder you can kitesurf for about twenty miles at high cruising speeds, without the annoying upwind tacking. You need to safely handle self-rescue, quick kite relaunch on water and have some experience with kitesurfing through dynamic conditions in addition to being in a physically good shape. So be aware, this is NOT A TOUR FOR BEGINNERS!
But if you can hang with the 'pros', then you’re in for an unforgettable experience. And even though the kited distance is almost as long as a marathon, you won’t need to suffer. The pick-up will be driving along on the beach, not only for safety reason but also equipped with comfy seats and cold beverages if you'd like to chill for a bit. And there’s always someone on hand to get you back enjoying the water and the wind.

Equipment
Remember, you are not going for a normal boring holiday to El Gouna and you will for sure spend 4-8 hrs on the water every day. This means bringing up-to-date proper equipment, as you will be giving all your gear a serious work out for many hours each day.
It is especially important that you bring a smaller kite, as the wind will pick up and get really strong the more north we ride. In Jeri the 10 m2 is in most cases to big! A second board, or even better, a wave board and a spare bar should all be in your kit. More is in this case better!
A normal kitesurfer is recommended to bring:
Kites 8, 10 and 12 square meters (female or lightweight riders one or two sizes smaller), 2 bars, twin tip and wave board, spare parts, extra lines, ropes, straps, fins and screws (!). Oh, and you don't need your neoprene wetsuit ;), but high sunfactor and sunblock for the lips.

Accommodations
Most of your accommodations are designed by and for kitesurfers. When it’s time to chill, you can do it by the pool, located right on the beach. When it’s time to crash for the night, you’ll do it with a hot private shower and comfy clean bed. When it’s time for breakfast, you’ll pile your plate high with an array of fresh fruits that will put your local supermarket to shame. Throw in some eggs, meat, bread, smoothies and you’ll be fueled up for a good long ride. (*Note – They just don’t have cereal here, so if you’re coo coo for Coco Puffs then you might have to smuggle some through the customs).
